Everybody loves Queen Victoria Market

Built in 1878, Queen Victoria Market is a fascinating place to visit if you come to Melbourne.  It is famous for its fresh produce, friendly stallholders and great atmosphere.

The different precincts of the market are great to browse through..

The Deli Hall is quite impressive and will make your mouth water with all its cheeses, preserves and pastries.

Yummy produce from the Deli Hall
More yummy stuff

Don't forget the bratwurst..

Make sure you get a taste of the bratwurst sausages for which the market is very famous, and for good reason: they taste great! Unfortunately, I have no pictures of the famous bratwurst as I ate mine too fast...

...and the cakes!

You can also taste pastries and cakes from all over the world: macarons, fudge, almond bread, and many others. There is a treat for everyone, big or small.

The almond bread was my favourite, but everything tastes good

Several events are held at Queen Victoria Market every year
